Download and extract the zip archive and you’ll one file and two directories:

• readme.txt
• tales/
• tales-child/

To install Tales simply upload the tales/ directory into the wp-content/themes/ directory of your WordPress install. If you wish to develop Tales beyond basic customisation it is advised to make use of a Child Theme so upload the tales-child/ directory too and build upon it.

Common Issues

“ The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet. ”

If you’re installing to WordPress by zip upload in the browser and not FTP, you’ll need to archive tales/ and tales-child/ individually before uploading. WordPress does not recognise two themes inside a single zip .
